FORT PIERCE, FL, November 16, 2023 /24-7PressRelease/ -- Robin Marshall has been included in Marquis Who's Who. As in all Marquis Who's Who biographical volumes, individuals profiled are selected on the basis of current reference value. Factors such as position, noteworthy accomplishments, visibility, and prominence in a field are all taken into account during the selection process.
With more than three decades of excellence in radio media and voice acting, Ms. Marshall has earned distinction as the manager of Marshall Arts Media, LLC. While in this capacity she focused her efforts on writing content for her radio broadcasting and production business. She is also the author of the best-selling book "Is This Thing On?" which she published in 2010 with her own company, Marshall Arts Communications, Inc. The book came from a Facebook group she established for radio broadcasting professionals to share their most memorable on-air mishaps.
Before her current role, Ms. Marshall worked on the air at New York City's CD101.9 of Emmis Communications/WQCD for ten years. Following this time, she created a syndicated program called Jayne FM and was on several stations across the United States. She finalized her NYC on-air career after 35 years with CBS Broadcasting's Fresh 102.7 in 2010.
Ms. Marshall continued her career as a voice over talent and writer within her own home studio and still does for several clients. She became an over 40 model for Carolina Talent. In 2014 she was the author of "The Diary of a Sugar Mom," which is the foundation for her podcast. The definition of "Sugar Mom," to Robin was "it's me time," when a woman realizes it is the time of life that belongs to her. She was a general manager and vice president of creative for Cumulus Media Sound Solutions from 2012 until 2019 for a division she built from grass roots. She and her team created radio commercials for 500 radio stations nationwide with Cumulus Media and hundreds of streams with WW1. Her production group received a nomination for the prestigious Mercury Award in the category of radio commercials.
Amidst the transformative evolution of the radio industry propelled by the rise of artificial intelligence, she made a determined choice to explore an alternative career path and rediscovered her passion for the arts. Ms. Marshall's works have been juried into numerous galleries and competitions, have won several international awards, and one of her paintings was even selected to wrap a van in Florida. She has also just been chosen to host her own space in a prominent mall gallery.
Within the coming years, Ms. Marshall intends to gain more recognition for her artistic endeavors, having successfully obtained a juried spot at one of the art exhibitions hosted in the hotels surrounding the convention center during the Art Basel show in Miami Beach. She is still open to future opportunities for voice work, radio or commercials and would love to host a dynamic talk show.
