Ms. Saxon says that "I am a fine Artist with a mission". She learned that in an art business course she is currently taking online in 2023. It is based on her life experiences and is a way she can serve her collectors by providing them with something that will bring peace and joy into their lives by reminding them of something important to them personally. Something that they can treasure for the rest of their lives.
She was in an art show on August 5, 2023, in New Orleans for the Gallery Walk and art party White Linen Night at Deutsch Kerrigan LLC. Ms. Saxon commented: "I am honored to be one of three featured artists to be invited to show my work there on White Linen Night. There were about 20,000 who attended.. "When people would stop to study my paintings, I would introduce myself and ask them what they were thinking about my painting. Almost everyone said that it made them feel peaceful, calm and at home. One man said that if he wasn't busy with work, he would love to go spend some time in the place where my painting was. That was so great to hear. Apparently, I am serving my mission through my paintings!"
Now, Ms. Saxon is working with her clients, providing her artwork to them, helping them to enjoy the feelings of peace and joy they experience through her work, every day. Her most recent client, MK McClure, said that her painting is "…precious, a priceless heirloom. You have captured the spirit of the feeling of New Orleans in your own style. I don't know how you do that!"
Within the coming years, Ms. Saxon intends to continue painting for her collectors as well as organize her business to better serve her clients. She hopes to also establish an art gallery in Saint Martin in the Caribbean to have a location to sell her paintings there and offer art workshops there for people enjoying holidays and vacations. Her mission is to give her clients the feeling of calmness when they see her artwork based on their life experiences.
