Prior to establishing The Meyers Group LLC, Ms. Meyers was the owner of a valet parking business and worked as a lobbyist. Following this time, she served as an account executive for DialAmerica from 1987 until 1997, taking a role as the director of operations for the National Center for Violence Interruption in 2000. To prepare for her professional journey, MS. Meyers earned a Bachelor of Arts in sociology from Spelman College in 1986.
Within the coming years, Ms. Meyers intends to finish the development of a state-of-the-art school of finance at Spelman College, with the goal of providing opportunities for African American women. Her ultimate goal is to break down the barriers that have historically prevented these talented individuals from pursuing finance careers and to establish a clear pathway for African Americans to break into Wall Street and thrive in their professions.
