Alongside her work, she is passionate about giving back to her community as a mentor for the Global Mentorship Initiative, a troop volunteer with the Girl Scouts, a volunteer judge for Walla Walla Fair and Frontier Days, and as a coach with Walla Walla Parks and Recreation. Committed to professional and self-development Mrs. Miller aligns herself with the Healthcare Information and Management Systems Society, the Washington State Clinical Informatics Council, the National Society of Leadership and Success, and the Golden Key Honour Society.
An expert in her field, Mrs. Miller became a certified pharmacy technician before earning a Bachelor of Science in business administration and management from Western Governors University and a CompTIA Project+ certification. Subsequently, she expanded upon her professional knowledge by earning two foundations of leadership certificates, a lean fundamentals certificate, becoming accredited as an Epic Clinical Informaticist and completing an MBA in management and strategy from Western Governors University. In 2024, she will graduate from Walden University with a Doctor of Healthcare Administration where she recently was also highlighted as an inductee to the Golden Key Honour Society for being in the top 15% of her Doctoral Class. In light of her professional achievements, Mrs. Miller was also recognized in 2023 for the '39 Under 39' by the Walla Walla Union Bulletin which aims to recognize individuals under the age of 39 who work to support and benefit the community through leadership in business, health care, arts and culture, education, public service, nonprofits and advocacy.
While her career has been filled with highlights, Mrs. Miller takes the most pride in her role as a contributor to the local county COVID-19 task force. Collaborating with multiple organizations, she worked diligently to enhance data reporting and workflow efficiency for the hospital as well as the community vaccination efforts during the challenging times of the pandemic.
