Recruited from L3Harris Technologies in Columbia, Maryland, Mr. Ali was a specialist electrical engineer from 2019 to 2020, working on cryptographic transmission security verification. He also served as a senior electrical engineer at Raytheon Missiles & Defense in Tucson, Arizona, between 2017 and 2019, as a senior electrical engineer at Lynntech Inc. in College Station, Texas, between 2016 and 2017, and as an electrical engineer, firmware engineer, and technologist at GE Transportation in Erie, Pennsylvania, from 2012 to 2016.
Before starting his career, Mr. Ali served eight years in the military as a logistical specialist in the U.S. Army Reserve from 2003 to 2011. He earned a high school diploma in Pakistan in 2000 and subsequently completed college coursework in intermediate computer science at Rawalpindi College of Commerce and Science in 2003. Additionally, Mr. Ali received an Associate of Science in engineering from Montgomery College in 2007, followed by a Bachelor of Science in electrical engineering in 2010 and master's coursework in telecommunications from the University of Maryland. While pursuing his degrees, Mr. Ali completed an internship in electrical engineering at L-3 Chesapeake Sciences Corporation in 2008 and at Howard Hughes Medical Institute in 2011.
In light of his success, Mr. Ali received several professional and military awards. He also secured several academic scholarships. Mr. Ali attributes his accomplishments to his deep understanding of his industry and the world around him, his exceptional communication skills, and his talent for cultivating solid relationships based on trust and mutual respect.
