Mr. Usher has been employed on the Grey Oaks Country Club staff since 2008, when he joined the club as first assistant golf professional. Previously, he served as head golf professional for The Golf Club of Georgia and Assistant Golf Professional at Arnold Palmer's Bay Hill Club and Lodge. Earlier in his career, he held other teaching and coaching positions at private country clubs in Florida and Georgia.
Looking toward the future, Mr. Usher is actively seeking opportunities to expand his knowledge and skills. With a passion for education and self-improvement, he is committed to providing the best instruction to his students and to establishing himself as one of the leading golf experts in the world.
Outside of work, Mr. Usher enjoys spending time with his family, including his wife and two sons, ages 20 and 18, both of whom work at Grey Oaks Country Club. In his free time, he was active with the local Boy Scouts of America, where he has served as camping coordinator, assistant scout master, cub master and den leader, and as a dedicated autism provider for Creative Teaching for Children with Autism.
