Having joined the company as the global head of architecture, design and construction in 2020, as of 2023, she expanded her role to also lead facilities management for the company's global properties, including designing and constructing new offices as well as modifying existing ones. She was also key in leading a project to consolidate various properties and facilities in Pittsburgh into a single iconic owned property.
Earlier in her career, Ms. Muskat served as the vice president of the Northeast region for Grubb and Ellis Companies in 2003 and became the director and construction project manager for Ferzan Robbins and Associates in 2007. She then joined LeFrak as the vice president of commercial construction and property operations in 2010, earning a promotion to the managing director in 2017. She also previously served as the president of the New York Commercial Real Estate Women (2009).
Among her professional accomplishments, Ms. Muskat was featured and recognized as A Woman of Influence and One of the Industry's Most Accomplished Women Professionals by Real Estate Forum in 2009. She was also honored with an award from Grubb and Ellis Companies and was recognized by Carnegie Mellon University for being part of the Alumni Association Executive Board. She is also proud of her work at BNY Mellon that had 169 offices worldwide during the COVID-19 pandemic, creating flexible workspaces with a flexible grid system that would lend itself to easy reconfiguration by staff to make solution friendly work layouts and support teams and client solutioning.
Prior to embarking on her professional journey, Ms. Muskat earned a Bachelor of Architecture focusing on business from Carnegie Mellon University in 1986. Following this achievement, she attained a Master of Business Administration from Baruch College in 2008. Eminently qualified in her field, she holds an advanced professional certification as well as a real estate finance and financial management certification.
Within the coming years, Ms. Muskat intends to utilize her skills in a highly collaborative environment to continue to build great teams and deliver exceptional work spaces and places. She is also involved in mentoring through various internship programs and seeks teaching opportunities to round out her career.
