GILBERT, AZ, November 30, 2023 /24-7PressRelease/ -- Michelle Goss has been inducted into Marquis Who's Who. As in all Marquis Who's Who biographical volumes, individuals profiled are selected on the basis of current reference value. Factors such as position, noteworthy accomplishments, visibility, and prominence in a field are all taken into account during the selection process.
Ms. Goss, chief empowerment officer and founder of Spirit Mountain Healing Services, possesses nearly a decade of experience as a horse guided coach. Through her nonprofit organization, Ms. Goss specializes in offering equine-assisted learning and life coaching to help clients — including families, first responders, health care providers and police officers — to help them navigate life and relationship issues, grief, loss and other concerns. On the ranch, her responsibilities entail running and managing the facility, caring for animals, and developing client activities, as well as offering sessions both onsite and at external facilities throughout the Phoenix area.
A leader within her field, Ms. Goss is the author of "Looking Within: Coming Home to Yourself Through Equine-Assisted Learning." The book, which was published in 2022, shares some of the powerful stories she has collected from clients as they have learned how to reconnect with themselves through horses. Additionally, she was proud to be named 2023 Person of the Year and a 2022 Trailblazer by Queen Creek Independent Newspaper.
Horses have been a passion of Ms. Goss for all her life. Through education and development, she has dedicated herself to a career working with the animals, first as a professional horseback rider and certified trainer, and later as an equine-assisted learning coach and therapist. Having seen the impact of her work, she hopes to spread awareness about the benefits of equine-assisted therapy and reach a wide audience through the healing power of horses.
Prior to embarking on her professional journey, Ms. Goss obtained a Bachelor of Science in equine science, with a minor in small business, from the University of Wisconsin-River Falls in 1994. She went on to earn a Master of Arts in counseling and psychology, with a concentration in equine assisted mental health, from Prescott College in 2014. She is certified as an emotion code practitioner by Discover Healing.
In her free time, Ms. Goss enjoys camping, riding horses, and spending time with family and friends. She attributes her success to her mother, who instilled in her the qualities of perseverance and ambition, and who taught her the invaluable life skills of time and financial management.
