During the early stages of her career, Ms. DeNino gained valuable expertise in the healthcare industry as a paramedic, instructor, and supervisor with the Glastonbury Volunteer Ambulance Association, the Windsor Volunteer Ambulance, Inc., Hartford Hospital, and the American Medical Response. An expert in her field, she earned an associate degree in paramedic education and EMS management from Capitol Community College in 1995. Subsequently, Ms. DeNino expanded her professional knowledge, earning an Associate of Science in Nursing and a Bachelor of Science in Nursing at Goodwin University, a Master of Public Health from Chamberlain University, and a critical care emergency medical transport certification.
Driven to remain abreast of changes in the field, Ms. DeNino is affiliated with the National Registry of Emergency Medical Technicians, the American Nurses Association, and the Connecticut Nurses Association. In light of her outstanding body of work, she has been honored by Phi Theta Kappa and Alpha Delta Nu.
