To prepare for his medical career, Dr. Offiong earned a Doctor of Medicine from the University of Benin College of Medical Sciences in Nigeria. Following this achievement, he completed a residency in internal medicine from the One Brooklyn Health System and Interfaith Medical Center in 2004. He was also admitted as a fellow to the American College of Physicians.
