Passionate about the field, Ms. Harrison initially worked at a privately owned title company in South Florida for five years, beginning as a receptionist. She subsequently established Trinity Title & Escrow in Hollywood, Florida, which she owned and operated for IO years. Ultimately closing the business after a divorce, she relocated to Orlando and launched Alpha. After seven years, a recession hit, and she closed its doors. Ms. Harrison then spent three years employed by Lawyers Advantage Title and for the Attorney General's Office as a paralegal. When the economy rebounded, she reopened her business, and it has been thriving ever since.
Earlier in her career, Ms. Harrison was involved in the banking industry in Jamaica, focusing on mortgages and titles. During that very influential time, she developed an understanding of the title process, mortgages and property liens, and interest rates. Ms. Harrison's work experience in Jamaica motivated her to help people in the U.S. Looking toward the future, her goals include stepping away from her current position, to focus more on educating those up-and-coming in the industry. Ms. Harrison intends to support underwriters by providing continuing education and creating classes for realtors to learn more about how title companies operate.
Adamant about giving back, Ms. Harrison volunteers and gives to several nonprofit organizations, including those that bring awareness to human trafficking, feeding and providing care packages for people experiencing homelessness, as well as halfway houses. She is also a Certified Hospice volunteer. Moreover, Ms. Harrison has lent her expertise to the public by participating in and leading various programs aimed at helping first-time home buyers achieve their dreams of homeownership.
Ms. Harrison graduated from Florida Memorial University with an associate degree in paralegal studies in 2011. She remains abreast in her industry as a member of the National Association of Real Estate Brokers.
In light of her success, Ms. Harrison has received numerous recognitions, including the "We Deliver" Award from the American Land Title Association for her outstanding work in the field, a Letter of Recognition from the mayor of Orlando for her contributions to the community, and, more recently, a Woman of the Year Orlando Award in 2023. She was also highlighted in IBA Success Magazine and the Orlando Gazette. Before immigrating to the U.S., Ms. Harrison received numerous accolades for her contributions to the Caribbean community, including an Outstanding Agent Award and a Quality Agent Award.
