Prior to his current role, Mr. Simmons began his career as a claims adjuster for the Bankers Life and Casualty Insurance Company in 1978 and was promoted to an insurance auditor in 1979. Later that year, he took a role as a staff accountant for the American Hospital Association until joining Rush Prudential HMO, Inc. in 1987 in a similar position. Throughout his career, he has translated any challenges and trials into opportunities for growth and development, making his skillset stronger and fueling his success.
To prepare for his professional journey, Mr. Simmons earned a Bachelor of Science in business administration and economics from Bethel College in 1978.
