Prior to embarking on her professional journey, Ms. Fernandez Trevino earned an Associate of Arts in classical music from Universidad Autónoma de Nuevo León in 2000. Immediately afterward, she expanded upon her expertise with a Bachelor of Science in computer science from Tecnológico de Monterrey, a certification as a Scrum Master through the Scrum Alliance, a certification in mastering design thinking from the MIT Sloan School of Management and a certification in storytelling from IDEOU. Due to her wide range of knowledge, Ms. Fernandez Trevino co-authored the technical poster "Improving the User Interface: Eye-Tracking in the Microsoft Office Usability Lab." Additionally, she holds patents for transitions between user interfaces in a content editing application, and for communication between a document editor in-space user interface and a document editor out-space user interface.
