She also founded the OKC Metro Disability Resource Alliance in 2004.
Prior to her current position, Ms. Trimmell began her career as a sales reporting, profit loss and financial analyst for CKE Restaurants in 1998 and became a program manager for a disability program with the Oklahoma Employment Security Commission, and the United States Department of Labor in 2003. She also was a lead coordinator for disaster relief and recovery during Hurricane Katrina.
Ms. Trimmell continued her career as the Oklahoma operations manager for the United States Department of Commerce Bureau of the Census in 2008, providing administrative support for the 2010 census in the state.
