Ms. Lincoln is a distinguished mechanical engineer and the founder of Kerelaw Engineering PC in the Bronx, New York. Initially serving as the firm's principal engineer and subsequently as the director of engineering, she now manages operations as its chief executive officer. A respected organization, Kerelaw focuses on providing comprehensive product design and development services to clients ranging from independent inventors and entrepreneurs to start-ups and more significant enterprises.
Besides managing all aspects of her company, Ms. Lincoln is actively engaged in mentorship. Her firm also offers a robust internship program for college students. Looking toward future goals, Ms. Lincoln aims to expand Kerelaw Engineering PC to provide pilot production, work with clients by performing their initial manufacturing runs, and continue building a prototyping facility. Moreover, Ms. Lincoln aspires to continually mentor young talent.
A career that began to take shape in the late 1980s, Ms. Lincoln joined Belcher Foundry as a quality engineer in 1988 and Enerpac in 1992. She was then recruited by Texas Instruments as a senior design engineer, where she spent over five years in her role. Continually advancing, Ms. Lincoln garnered positions with Applied Engineering Solutions Inc., Myvu Corporation, Honeywell Industrial Safety, ELIA Life Technology PBC, iRobot, and Kimber Manufacturing Inc. Choosing to transition into entrepreneurship, Ms. Lincoln sought to find a way to better utilize her skills. She also wanted to provide new product design and services for companies and entrepreneurs that did not have access to on-site technical staff.
Through her community, Ms. Lincoln has been active in various ways. Most notably, she has participated in the Tour de Bronx, a free event to help raise money for local nonprofits and health-related initiatives.
Ms. Lincoln obtained a Bachelor of Science in mechanical engineering from the Massachusetts Institute of Technology in 1987 and a Master of Business Administration from Baruch College in 2021. She also received credentials as a professional engineer through the New York State Education Department in 2017. Ms. Lincoln is active in her professional community as a member of the American Society of Mechanical Engineers.
