Prior to her current role, Ms. Hile served as a medical writer for Eli Lilly and Company in 2000 and worked in several other roles in global recruitment and clinical trial registry until 2012. She subsequently worked as a senior clinical research associate for Quintiles in 2013 and became a clinical project manager for Roche Diabetes Care, Inc. through Real Staffing in 2015.

Looking to the future, Ms. Hile intends to step down from her everyday management duties, allowing her to contribute her knowledge and expertise to policy-making or work with an organization that prioritizes patient experiences. She is also interested in engaging with the FDA's initiative to include more minority patients and populations in clinical research, believing clinical research should not be limited to only affluent or White patients who can afford to take time off from work.
