With more than a decade of excellence in corporate coaching, Ms. Martin has earned distinction as a mental fitness coach for Positive Intelligence. Since 2023, she has focused her efforts on conducting one-on-one coaching and group coaching to help others improve in their lives and careers. Additionally, she lends her expertise as a speaker and fundraiser for The Leukemia and Lymphoma Society, having survived cancer twice herself.
Prior to her present role, Ms. Martin served as a manager of quality improvement for CME in 2002 and became the associate vice president of project management for JPMorgan Chase Bank, N.A. in 2008. Following this time, she was a project management consultant for VW Credit, Inc. in 2015 and became a consultant, business technology project manager and Scrum master consultant for Discover Financial Services in 2016. The next year, she was a senior project manager and Scrum master consultant for System Matrix and for The Kraft Heinz Company, taking a role as a Scrum master consultant for the Northern Trust Corporation in 2018.
Ms. Martin continued her career as a remote director, agile coach and strategist consultant for Flosum in 2019 and was a senior Scrum master consultant for the Northern Trust Corporation later that year. She subsequently served as a senior Scrum master consultant for the Forte Group as well as an agile delivery manager for Nava in 2020, becoming an agile coach consultant for the London Stock Exchange Group in 2021. In 2022, she was an agile coach for Capgemini for a year. Her focus on community dates back to 1998 and 1999 when she was honored with Community Service Awards from the Hispanic Association of AT&T Employees.
To prepare for her professional journey, Ms. Martin earned a Bachelor of Science in business and commerce from the University of Phoenix in 2006. Well-qualified in her field, she is a scaled Scrum expert with a Scrum master accredited certificate. She also holds a SAFe Agilist Certification 6.0, SAFe 5 Agilist certification, and a certification as an Agile Coach.
Within the coming years, Ms. Martin intends to establish a non-profit organization, Elevate Mind and Body, which will offer services to women in underserved communities. Following the launch, a series of community events will be held to offer lymphatic enhancement therapy as a treatment alongside mental fitness coaching, providing guided meditation focusing on the neuropathways to instill positive thinking. Her ultimate goal is to empower a larger number of women of color and provide them with guidance to navigate various challenges such as crises, chronic illnesses or other challenges in their lives by promoting mental fitness and lymphatic enhancement treatments to accelerate physical and mental healing.
