Currently, he serves as Chief Quality Officer for the Healthcare Division of Jabil, Inc., a contract manufacturer for customers that span numerous industries, including aerospace, automotive, computing, consumer lifestyles, digital home, energy, healthcare, industrial, networking, storage, and telecommunications. The company is based in Saint Petersburg, Florida, and has more than 250,000 employees across 100 locations in 30 countries.

Before joining Jabil, Mr. Arrendell worked for Becton Dickinson as Vice President of Quality Management for the Biosciences and Diagnostics businesses. He also held leadership roles as the Vice President of Global Quality and Regulatory Affairs at KCI Medical / Acelity. Additionally, Mr. Arrendell was the Vice President of Global Quality at Wright Medical Technology. During an earlier stage of his career, he led teams in both site Manufacturing and Quality organizations at Abbott Diagnostics. Prior to that, he spent time designing, installing, and supporting systems for automated semiconductor manufacturing and was responsible for the design and managing manufacturing lines for automotive air handling systems.
As Mr. Arrendell reflects on his career accomplishments, he credits much of his success to guidance from his mentors and to his ability to connect with others. He also works toward being a Servant Leader and mentoring other leaders. Moreover, Mr. Arrendell and his companies have maintained a remarkable track record regarding compliance with global regulatory requirements, focusing on enhancing design and manufacturing that lead to safe and reliable products for healthcare patients worldwide. In light of his accomplishments, Mr. Arrendell was recognized among the Top 25 Healthcare Leaders of San Antonio in the Health Technology Report in 2022.
In addition to his primary career endeavors, Mr. Arrendell has served on some Working Groups for AdvaMed, the world's largest medical technology organization representing device, diagnostics, and digital technology companies. He also had the opportunity to deliver the Commencement Address for the College of Engineering's Spring 2022 Commencement at his alma mater, the University of Texas at Arlington.
As part of his commitment to community affairs, Mr. Arrendell has been active through the Spring Creek United Methodist Church and sang with the Rhodes Master Singers in Memphis, Tennessee. For many years, he served as Director of Music and Worship at First United Methodist Church in Arlington, Texas.
Mr. Arrendell received a Bachelor of Science and a Master of Science in Mechanical Engineering at the University of Texas at Arlington in 1988 and 1991, respectively. During college, he participated in campus activities as a member of the Phi Delta Theta Fraternity, the Interfraternity Council, Student Congress, and served as President of the Pi Tau Sigma Mechanical Engineering Honor Society. In addition to his degrees, he is a member of the American Society for Quality and is a Certified Quality Engineer and a Certified Design Development International Facilitator. He also serves on the Dean's Board of Advisors for the University of Texas at Arlington College of Engineering.
