Through his varied educational roles, he also studied the kinetics and mechanisms of oxygen-carrying proteins and transition metal complexes, as well as iron and cobalt complexes. An expert in his field, he earned a Bachelor of Science in Pharmaceutical Engineering from the University of Zagreb. Subsequently, he expanded on his professional knowledge by completing a Master of Science and PhD in Physical Chemistry from his alma mater. Driven to remain abreast of changes in the field, Dr. Bradic aligns himself with the Association for Diagnostics and Laboratory Medicine, the American Chemical Society, and the American Institute of Chemists.
Due to his vast breadth of knowledge, Dr. Bradic has contributed to numerous publications, including "Stopped-flow and Rapid-Scan Examination of the Iron (III)-Acetohydroxamic Acid System," "Comparative Behavior in the Kinetics of Reduction by Superoxide and Dithionate Ions," and "The Role of Mixed Oxidation States in the Oxidation of Hemerythrin Species by Ferrcyanide Ion." Along with other industry scholars, Dr. Bradic has co-authored articles in a variety of publications, including the Journal of the American Chemistry Society and the Journal of Biological Chemistry.
In light of his outstanding body of work, Dr. Bradic has been honored many times, earning a Technical Achievement Award from Baxter Healthcare Company and inclusion in Who's Who in Science and Engineering. Over the years, he has also been recognized in Who's Who in California. While his career has been filled with highlights, he takes the most pride in working on serum-based quality controls and cardiac markers.
