Mr. Keller is the President and Founder of Cogwheel Construction, a full-service general contractor based in Bainbridge Island, Washington, that offers residential and commercial construction services throughout Kitsap county. Focusing on providing excellent customer service to clients during the entire construction process, from the initial project design concept to completion, he and his team work collaboratively with suppliers and other key partners to complete every project on time and on budget.
Before the launch of Cogwheel Construction in 2018, Mr. Keller was a senior project engineer at Compass General Construction. He also held high-level positions with similar organizations, including Clark Construction LLC as a project manager and PHC Construction as an operations manager and project manager. Mr. Keller's positions with PHC were notably influenced after completing a learning contract with the Rotary Club on Bainbridge Island, where he had the opportunity to serve as an intern and receive school credit. Following this internship Brandon began another internship with PHC, and after graduation, PHC offered him a full-time position.
Born in Anchorage, Alaska, Mr. Keller moved to Bainbridge Island at the age of five. Deeply immersed in his community, he draws a sense of satisfaction in providing his expertise to area residents. As the President and Founder of Cogwheel, Mr. Keller maintains organization regarding projects and scheduling, provides estimating costs for new and existing work, and secures bids for upcoming projects. He currently oversees nine team members, six of which are full-time.
Throughout his professional career, Mr. Keller contributed to many significant commercial projects, such as the Bainbridge Island Museum of Art, the Grow Community, the Bainbridge Island Public Library remodel, the Bainbridge Artisan Resource building, and the Marvin Williams Recreation Center. Looking ahead, he plans to grow his team carefully, preserving the small business environment, and continue cultivating lasting relationships with clients. Moreover, Mr. Keller launched a new venture too, Toolbox Dispatch, in early 2024, specializing in small service call projects for residential and commercial clients.
As a dedicated civic leader, Mr. Keller is affiliated with the Bainbridge Island Chamber of Commerce as a member of its government affairs committee. Mr. Keller supports various other nonprofits through his construction firm, including the Bainbridge Island Museum of Art, Bloedel Reserve, Housing Resources of Bainbridge, and the Bainbridge Roller Hockey League. Earlier in his career, he played, coached, and refereed for the Bainbridge Roller Hockey League and was a volunteer camp counselor for Camp Shepard BSA.
Mr. Keller studied at Evergreen State College, earning a Bachelor of Arts in Entrepreneurship and Economics in 2013. He previously graduated from Bainbridge High School in 2009. As part of his professional commitments, Mr. Keller is a member of the Kitsap Building Association.
