She holds an Associate of Arts in Spanish Language and Literature from Foothill College, a Bachelor's Degree in Consumer Food Science from the University of California Davis, and a Master's Degree in Organizational Leadership from the University of San Francisco. Along with her degrees, Ms. Beauchamp has earned various educational credentials and certifications including: Global Career Development Facilitator (GCDF), Certified Career Service Provider (CCSP), as well as multiple Teacher Licenses from San Diego State University, among others.
After working as a classroom teacher for 10 years, Ms. Beauchamp transitioned into teacher induction and alternative licensing program management where she spent the next decade of her career contributing to teacher recruitment, training and retention. As she continued her work, Ms. Beauchamp developed an interest in furthering the careers of educators beyond their initial training. In 2010, she founded Oranda LLC, a not-for-profit to publish and curate student engagement resources, including Focus 1-2-3 ©, a social-emotional learning toolkit of mini-breaks that create positive environments for learning.
As an educational entrepreneur and author of several education resources, curriculums and professional development materials, Ms. Beauchamp was led to establish herself as a consultant and career development coach. As an individual career coach, she has clarified, uplifted, and propelled career goals forward by supporting clients to unpack their interests and aptitudes, update their career narrative, and collaborating in their job search process, and application materials among other offerings. In her role as a consultant, she is focused on creating and implementing meaningful professional growth including EnCircles, also known as Employee Resource or Resiliency groups - programs that she developed to build connections and caring communities among professionals from various groups and departments within large educational organizations including early childhood and university settings.
Since 2018, Ms. Beauchamp has successfully implemented her programs within the university and public-school sectors. For her entrepreneurial ambition and contributions, she received the Educational Entrepreneur of the Year from the International Academy of Educational Entrepreneurship. Along with her contributions through her own business, she is a member of the National Career Development Association and acts as an Instructional Coach with the Poudre School District.
Outside of her professional ventures, Ms. Beauchamp has dedicated her time to several civic organizations. Previously, she sat on the board of the Pacifica Mothers Club and served on the board of directors as a founding member for the California Teacher Corps. Moreover, she has been involved with Playworks, first as a founding San Francisco board member, from 2009 to 2012, and now as an ambassador, a position she has held since 2015. Most recently, she served as a volunteer mediator for the City of Fort Collins, and as a lifelong competitive player, she has coordinated the Fort Collins Badminton Club since 2018.
In all she has accomplished, Ms. Beauchamp's remarkable achievements can be attributed to her exceptional interpersonal and coaching skills, her ability to identify and prioritize crucial aspects of a project, devise effective strategies to achieve success, navigate through obstacles, and create clear pathways to accomplish goals. Looking forward, she plans to expand her career coaching work, broader her faculty mentoring EnCircle programs, and extend her consulting services to other organizations keen on empowering and elevating their employees.
