Though hard work and dedication have brought him far in his career, Mr. Vought credits his success to continuously striving for excellence and serving as a role model for others.
WESLEY CHAPEL, FL, January 10, 2024 /24-7PressRelease/ -- Kevin Vought has been included in Marquis Who's Who. As in all Marquis Who's Who biographical volumes, individuals profiled are selected on the basis of current reference value. Factors such as position, noteworthy accomplishments, visibility, and prominence in a field are all taken into account during the selection process.
A seasoned business owner with years of expertise to his credit, Mr. Vought excels as the owner and president of Key Clinic Data Professionals (KCD Pros), through which he utilizes over 20 unique metrics to assess the strengths of his customer's healthcare clinics and uses that information to guide changes and growth. Additionally, he leverages a predictive modeling tool he wrote to analyze the impact various operating parameters have on net profit. This tool helps clinics optimize their net profit by growing and evolving in a more directed manner. Alongside his work with KCD Pros, Mr. Vought is a senior professional engineer for the Southwest Florida Water Management District, where he manages projects and assembles requests for proposals (RFPs), including his current RFP for a saltwater intrusion model for the Southern Water Use Caution Area (SWUCA).
During the early stages of his career, Mr. Vought honed his expertise in finance, engineering, and management with multiple employers. Most recently, he and his wife built, then sold, Communication Corner and More!, Inc. (CCAM). CCAM was owned by his wife, Jill Vought. Together, they started this pediatric healthcare clinic from a one-person therapist and molded it into a multimillion-dollar powerhouse. He also worked for Hatch, where he led a team performing modeling analyses with a program named GoldSim, DHI Water, and Environment, Inc., where he led a team of scientists and engineers in water resource modeling projects, CDM, SAIC, BBL, and Coastal Engineering Consultants, Inc. Throughout his career, Mr. Vought has also completed groundwater flow, hydrodynamic, stormwater, contaminant transport, and atmospheric dispersion modeling. The sum of his experiences – management, data analysis, programming, and modeling – all came together when he helped his wife take CCAM to the next level and laid the foundation for KCD Pros' rigorous data analysis and predictive modeling.
Before starting his career, Mr. Vought earned a Bachelor of Science in Physics and Mathematics from the State University of New York at Oswego, from which he graduated Magna Cum Laude in 1995, then simultaneously earned a Master of Science in Civil Engineering and a Master of Science in Nuclear Engineering from The Ohio State University three years later. His graduate studies were paid for through a fellowship provided by the Department of Energy through their Office of Civilian Radioactive Waste Management. In addition to paying for his graduate studies, the fellowship also provided Mr. Vought the opportunity to conduct research at Los Alamos National Laboratory. He helped program a contaminant transport model for a section of the Nevada Test Site as part of that research. He went on to become a registered professional engineer through the Florida Board of Professional Engineers.
Outside his work, in 2021, he wrote and published "I'm Supposed to Make a Difference: A Memoir About Overcoming Trauma and Abuse," which has been a career highlight, guiding numerous survivors of childhood trauma to not just survive, but to thrive. He won Employee Awards from the Southwest Florida Water Management District and from CDM for his professional accomplishments. While his career has been filled with standout moments, Mr. Vought takes the most pride in being selected as the director to lead the GoldSim modeling program at Hatch and receiving praise from the Arizona and Nevada Department of Natural Resources for his novel work in atmospheric dispersion modeling. As a student, his professors also voted him into the national honor societies Phi Kappa Phi and Sigma Pi Sigma.
Though hard work and dedication have brought him far in his career, Mr. Vought credits his success to continuously striving for excellence and serving as a role model for others. Within the coming years, he intends to expand his company and make its software accessible online.
