Ms. Becker is the proud owner and sole proprietor of Floral Culture LLC, a company she launched in 2021. She also manages critical administrative duties related to invoicing and inventory control, and Ms. Becker presents her work at local and regional holiday markets.
A passion for landscape and gardening work became obvious to Ms. Becker during her high school years, and she recognized an affinity for the physical aspect of the job, as well as for being outdoors. After earning a Bachelor of Arts in Spanish language and literature from the University of Colorado Denver in 1999, she initiated a diverse career through an appointment as the office manager and garden crew supervisor of a local landscape design company through 2002. She also excelled as an English language teacher at LTC Language Training Center from 2006 to 2008 and at Berlitz Deutschland from 2007 to 2008 before accepting a position as a teacher with the Wall Street Institute from 2008 to 2012. Subsequently, Ms. Becker was welcomed by the German American Business Chamber of South Florida as the office manager in 2014 and, in 2017, she transitioned to the role of executive assistant with the Denver City Council District 10 from 2017 to 2018.
Currently, Ms. Becker's business thrives on a deep commitment to succeed, as well as an appreciation for inspired artistic designs, and she finds that creating living artwork through flowerpots and seasonal annual displays is indeed meaningful work.
