Since 2020, Dr. Olajide has served on the faculty of Clark State College where she interacts closely with a diverse student body and excels in a mentorship capacity. She brings exceptional applied experience to the role, having served as a visiting scientist with the Department of Microbiology and Biotechnology at Tel-Aviv University in 2008 and completing an internship in the Communicable Disease Section of the Department of Public Health in San Bernardino County between 2012 and 2013. Dr. Olajide now holds a Master of Public Health from California State University, which she completed in 2013.
A commitment to realizing her objectives is critical to Dr. Olajide's academic and professional advancement. She also credits caring, compassionate advisors for inspiring her to in turn serve others in the capacity of an educator. Dr. Olajide is humbled to earn her students' respect and positive course evaluations, in part due to her awareness of the high cost of textbooks and the adoption of Open Educational Resources in her microbiology class.
Dr. Olajide maintains an active network through membership in the American Society of Public Health, and she earned a mentoring fellowship from the American Society of Microbiology. She looks forward to continuing her important work at Clark State College and to forging productive relationships with both students and colleagues.
