Mr. Mitchell's passion for social welfare was further ignited when he and his wife started LA Supportive Housing, which became the largest homeless housing provider in Los Angeles County. Their innovative approach to the street-to-home program which included housing numerous families and individuals experiencing homelessness. Recognizing the potential within this population, Mr. Mitchell also created a nonprofit trucking company, The Big Blue Umbrella Express Delivery Corp to implement The Heroes Across America Program offering guaranteed employment and guaranteed housing to complete the self sufficiency cycle. The Heroes Across America Program will be the prime example of privatizing public funding for veterans and people experiencing homelessness.
Mr. Mitchell is deeply committed to social welfare and has also established the first-ever certification board for all homelessness advocates called the Homelessness Advocate Certification Board. The board will standardized and improve the quality of services for homelessness outreach teams.
His dedication extends to his family life, where he enjoys spending quality time traveling, playing video games, board games, playing paintball and basketball with his wife and 3 sons: Danya II, Milyon, and Danya III.
