Since 2020, he has focused his efforts on risk management, litigation management, negotiating contracts and corporate governance of closely held businesses.
Prior to his current role, Mr. Williams was a litigator with Arthur Chapman until 2007 when became the Vice President and General Counsel of Austin Mutual Insurance Company until it's acquisition in 2014. Mr. Williams transitioned to the construction industry when became Corporate Counsel for MP Nexlevel, LLC. Mr. Williams has served on many Boards of Directors in his community, local government, education, and trade groups. Most recently, Mr. Williams served as a Director for Ruff Start Rescue, a Minnesota based canine rescue operation saving more than 3,000 dogs per year.
To prepare for his law career, Mr. Williams earned his undergraduate degree in Business from Concordia University and his Juris Doctorate from William Mitchell College of Law, both in St. Paul, MN. Among his professional accomplishments, he was named an Honoree for In House Counsel of the Year by Minnesota Lawyer in 2023 and was featured in a profile by Vanguard Law Magazine in 2021.
Within the coming years, Mr. Williams intends to transition his career to engage in more board work.
