Mr. Fosu also focuses on helping educators harness advanced technology to improve learning outcomes and create engaging lessons.
Prior to his recruitment at Ohio University, Mr. Fosu excelled as an instructional technologist and designer at Sacred Heart College in Johannesburg, South Africa for more than five years. He had previously been appointed as an instructional leader at a school in Asankragua, Ghana through the Ghana Education Service, which is part of Ghana's Ministry of Education, between 2007 and 2013. In order to stay up to date with the latest developments in his field, Mr. Focus currently maintains an active affiliation with the American Educational Research Association.
Alongside his responsibilities as an intern, Mr. Fosu simultaneously earned a Master of Education at Ohio University in 2021. In addition to his family's support, he attributes a great deal of his success to his firm commitment to his professional goals. Mr. Fosu is particularly proud to have played an instrumental role in the professional development of myriad educators in the United States as well as his native country of Ghana and also in South Africa. In the coming years, he intends to complete a Doctor of Education in Educational Leadership at Ohio University before establishing an educational leadership consultancy for improving educational standards in rural communities across the United States.
