Since 2023, she has focused her efforts on managing a long-term care unit, ensuring all processes within the unit are functioning correctly. Following this time, she worked as a manufacturer for Steri-Pharma in 2011 until becoming a home health aide for Homestead in 2012, serving in a similar role for Senior Living Nottingham later that year and for Interim HealthCare Inc. in 2014. She subsequently served as a patient care assistant for Albany Medical Center in 2015 and was promoted toa registered nurse in 2016. She continued her career as a nursing supervisor for St. Peter's Health Partners in 2019, earning a promotion to a nursing manager in 2021 and taking a role as a clinical nurse manager for Daughters of Sarah Community for Seniors in 2023.
To prepare for her career in healthcare, Ms. Mouity-Ngoyo earned a Bachelor of Science in biology from Syracuse University in 2010. Following this achievement, she attained an Associate of Science in nursing from Maria College in 2016 and a Bachelor of Science in Nursing from American Sentinel College of Post University in 2017. She subsequently gained a Master of Science in Nursing in management and organizational leadership from the same institution in 2023.
Looking to the future, Ms. Mouity-Ngoyo intends to transition her career to consulting, possibly becoming a Doctor of Nursing Practice. Having immigrated to the United States in 2005 as a refugee, she is proud of her career accomplishments thus far and is committed to making a positive impact moving forward.
