Throughout his career, Dr. Battle has also worked for Walmart, Gridiron Technologies LLC, and L3Technologies, and has made significant impacts on such organizations as Capital One, Delta, UPS, Sephora, and Target, much of which he attests to his inclusive leadership and supportive and encouraging work culture. Additionally, Dr. Battle found success in the entertainment industry, working with several renowned artists while employed by Warner Records from 1993 to 1996, and was instrumental in a startup venture that involved transforming the John Madden video game into a more sophisticated, 3D virtual reality simulator.
Passionate about civic and educational initiatives, Dr. Battle has served as a student-athlete mentor at the Georgia Institute of Technology and as a task force for alignment volunteer at his alma mater, the Goizueta Business School at Emory University. He has also been active with his local Boys & Girls Clubs of America and Bayside Community Church and as a member of the Emory University Alumni Association.

Additionally, he earned numerous professional designations, including certification as an intercultural development inventory qualified administrator through IDI LLC in 2019, education leadership certification through the Georgia Professional Standards Commission in 2017, and business education certification and marketing education certification through the Georgia Professional Standards Commission in 2014. Dr. Battle is affiliated with the Atlanta Chapter of OCA, Kappa Alpha Psi, and Omicron Lambda Leadership.
