While completing his studies, Mr. Chesterfield completed internships at the Birck Nanotechnology Research Center and Bastian Solutions. In 2010, he accepted a position with Bastian Solutions as a project engineer, rising to become an application engineer the following year. Mr. Chesterfield joined Dematic in 2012, where he spent the next seven years specializing in automated fulfillment solution sales and earning the company's Swagger Award in recognition of his outstanding performance. After departing the company, he brought his sales expertise to Seegrid, where he excelled as a strategic sales manager for autonomous mobile robots from 2019 until 2021, and Phantom Auto, where he spent a year developing sales engineering capabilities, bridging sales and engineering teams for the implementation of technology enabled material handling equipment. In 2022, Mr. Chesterfield transitioned into working directly with clients and developing partnerships with the likes of Tompkins Ventures LLC and Jet Automation to bring the full suite of expertise and capability to clients. This founded Auto-FC, or Automated Fulfillment Consulting, a consulting firm offering clients specialized solutions for optimizing fulfillment operations and the application of automated process and equipment. Mr. Chesterfield supports clients in all stages of the conception, design and implementation process. Including advising on change management and long-term strategic planning, as well as offering consulting services to creators and investors interested in entering the warehouse automation technology field.
