Besides the success of his go-kart racetrack, Mr. Lockhart has been managing a custom vinyl sign shop that has been in business since 2004. He provides clients unlimited styles and colors of vinyl graphics and screen printing options for race cars, t-shirts, hats, sweatshirts, and more.
Mr. Lockhart's long and successful career in motorsports began during his youth, competing in local and national motorsport events. Over the years, he continually progressed from go-karts to sprint cars, full-size cars, and monster trucks. He also found success as the owner of a 410-sprint car team and several other race teams.
Mr. Lockhart continues to participate in over a dozen races annually and occasionally fills in for monster truck race drivers. He also mentors his 11-year-old son, Logan, who has become established in motorsports and competes in full-sized sprint cars and dirt modifieds. He is scheduled to participate in the Speed Leagues in Florida for two weeks in February 2024. Moreover, Mr. Lockhart enjoys awarding special prizes to the many other children who visit Lockhart Raceway and reach the feature event, which has inspired and motivated their continued excellence in motorsports.
Among other accomplishments, Mr. Lockhart owned a commercial cleaning company. Reflecting on his career, he credits his work ethic to his mother's influence as a woman who worked two jobs to provide for her family. He also recognizes his determination and refusal to give up, which has been instrumental in developing a solid foundation for success.
