He continued his career as a finance director for the Town of Wallace in 2015, for the Town of Newport in 2018, and for the Town of Angier in 2019, where he discovered that the software was not implemented correctly and was able to correct the issues.
To prepare for his professional journey, Mr. Kalwitz earned a Bachelor of Science in public affairs, financial management and economics from Indiana University Bloomington in 2007. Following this achievement, he attained a Master of Public Administration in financial administration, economic development and policy analysis from the same institution in 2009. Well-qualified in his field, he is a certified North Carolina local government finance officer.
