Leveraging more than three decades of excellence in ensuring workers' safety while utilizing explosives and radioactive materials, Mr. Doggett has earned distinction as the president, consultant and team lead manager for Palladin Associates, LLC. Since 2018, he has focused his efforts on handling supervisor training for the company and is authorized by the state of Texas to conduct 24-hour radiation supervisor training for professionals who handle radioactive material at oil and gas wells. Additionally, he lends his expertise to the explosive safety committee of the American Petroleum Institute.
Prior to his current role, Mr. Doggett served as a crew supervisor, operations manager, area engineer, and technical manager for NL McCullough and became proficient in formation evaluation, cement bond logging, casing integrity, and production logging as well as high well pressure control operations. He also served as a cased-hole field engineer with Western Atlas Logging Services in 1993 and became a Gulf Coast area safety director for Baker Atlas in 1995. He subsequently worked as a health, safety and environment director for Wood Group Logging Services in 1997 until becoming the vice president of corporate compliance for Perf-O-Log in 2001.
Mr. Doggett continued his career as the director of corporate compliance for Pioneer Energy Services in 2009 and was the senior director of quality, health, safety and environment for drilling and completions at C&J Energy Services in 2014. To prepare for his professional journey, Mr. Doggett earned a Bachelor of Science in biology from The University of Texas at El Paso in 1976. After graduating, Mr. Doggett was employed by the US Food and Drug Administration as an investigating officer where he conducted investigations of reports of adverse reactions and injuries attributed to regulated products and firms. He collected and prepared samples for analysis of chemical and/or microbiological adulteration and prepared reports reflecting significant observations for regulatory consideration. Mr. Doggett is a US Navy veteran.
Within the coming years, Mr. Doggett intends to continue aiding businesses by providing consulting services, working with several smaller companies that are unable to afford full-fledged health, safety and environmental experts. He aspires to actively participate in assisting these companies by offering his services at significantly lower rates compared to his competitors.
