Dr. Schlesinger's performance in the field was born of his academic journey. He holds a Doctor of Education in higher education administration from The Catholic University of America, a Master of Science in college student counseling and personnel services from the State University of New York, and a Bachelor of Arts in psychology from Temple University.
Known for his commitment to his profession, Dr. Schlesinger is the co-author of "Sams Teach Yourself E-Job Hunting Today," and he is a frequent presenter at professional conferences. He has been active with several organizations relevant to his field, most notably as an honorary member of the National Association of Colleges and Employers, formerly a member of its national board, a past president of his regional association, and he was featured in Who's Who in the East.
Mr. Schlesinger was married for 42 years before his wife, Shari, passed away; he credits his success to her unconditional love and support throughout his career. Nowadays, when he is not working, he is a volunteer with the American Red Cross, is on the Board of Visitors for the College of Liberal Arts at Temple University, and enjoys traveling, especially to England and France, and attending live theater.
