Mr. Jordan has enjoyed a long and successful career, diversifying his expertise between culinary arts and real estate. Upon his exit from the hospitality sector as a Chef at the University of California Los Angeles, he began his second profession as a sales agent with Reliance Network and RE/MAX Commercial in 2004. Mr. Jordan has since found success as a real estate broker with Coldwell Banker Commercial since 2011 and as a property manager with SNT Properties, responsible for six buildings, 70 units, and over 150 tenants since 2017.
Leveraging nearly two decades in the industry, Mr. Jordan also sold real estate for Coldwell Banker and Premier Realty, was an assistant property manager at DLS Scott Properties, a General Manager and Broker Associate at Coldwell Banker Wilshire Properties, and a senior associate at NAI Capital Commercial Inc. In the restaurant sector, his humble beginnings began to take shape as a teenager working in the kitchen at the Boston Naval Shipyard. Continually progressing, he earned roles as a Second Cook, Rounds Cook, and Sous Chef, and, in 1980, became an Executive Sous Chef and Banquet Chef in California. Mr. Jordan subsequently became an Executive Chef at several well-known eateries throughout the state, including Gianna's Italian Restaurant and the Wawona Hotel. He also spent several years as a Private Home Chef in Oakhurst, California, between 1992 and 1996. Furthermore, Mr. Jordan held executive roles at the Kennedy Space Center in Florida, the Roaring River Inn and Conference Center in Missouri, Hillcrest Country Club in California, and the Marriott Hotel in Maui, Hawaii, and La Jolla, Palm Desert, and Yosemite, California
As a dedicated member of his community, Mr. Jordan has been affiliated with Toastmasters International. He has also been involved with Boston Children's Hospital, APLA Health, and the Concern Foundation. Moreover, Mr. Jordan has participated in numerous runs to support various causes, including the Pasadena 5K Run, the Maui Marathon, the Disney Half Marathon, the Santa Monica 10K Clean the Bay Run, the L.A. Marathon, and the Boston Marathon.
Mr. Jordan graduated from a vocational school for culinary arts in Boston in 1974 and studied at the John Roberts Powers School of Modeling in 1976. He has received credentials with certification in food storage and sanitation, as a working chef, and in food management. Additionally, Mr. Jordan received designation as a licensed realtor and broker in California. He remains active as a professional member of the American Culinary Federation.
In light of his success in real estate, Mr. Jordan was featured numerous times in a local newspaper as a Broker in Santa Monica between 2010 and 2016 and was honored with a Coldwell Banker Sterling Award. In recognition of his culinary expertise, he won an Excellence Award as a Sous Chef and Banquet Chef by Marriott International Inc. Additionally, Mr. Jordan's civic commitments earned him an Advanced Communicator Bronze Award from Toastmasters International.
At this time, Mr. Jordan has set his sights on being a full-time caregiver for his wife and a goal of becoming a public speaker to bring more awareness to mental health.
