Mr. Huang began his career as a project manager with the University of Oklahoma in 1994. He was promoted to a program manager in 1995. Following this time, he served as an account specialist, received Six Sigma Green Belt certification from Seagate Technology in 2001, and was a long-term care representative for Genworth in 2002. He continued his career as a talent executive with Trans Continental Talent, Inc. in 2003, was an admission counselor for Oklahoma City University in 2004, and joined Dell in late 2005 where he quickly became a senior inside sales representative in early 2006. Dell promoted Mr. Huang to a project manager in late 2006. He would serve as a sales executive for iHeartMedia in 2008.
Upon joining HP in 2010, Mr. Huang's began his tenure as an enterprise group senior CRM and inside sales operations process manager, earning a promotion to a manager for the group in 2014. In late 2015, when HP split into HP Inc and Hewlett Packard Enterprise, he became a senior manager for Hewlett Packard Enterprise for the enterprise group and was quickly promoted to a global role for the software group in early 2016. He then took a role as Director of Americas Inside Sales for Molex, building an inside sales organization from the ground up in North, Central and South America in 2017. He would join Lenovo in 2020.
Prior to embarking on his professional journey, Mr. Huang's education included chemistry, biochemistry and business coursework at the University of Oklahoma. Following these achievements, at Oklahoma City University, he attained a Master of Business Administration (2007) with specialties in marketing and finance (2008).
Within the coming years, Mr. Huang intends to continue growing inside sales, eventually branching out into consulting work.
