Before pivoting into real estate, Ms. Maiga spent time working in Graduate school recruitment at the University of Michigan where she gained valuable insight into what motivates someone to move to a new place and found it very rewarding. Following that, she was the founder and graphic designer of Sarah Maiga Designs, LLC in Ann Arbor, specializing & ran a successful online store selling custom invitations servicing over 20,000 customers her first year. Alongside running her company, Ms. Maiga studied for the LSATs to pursue her dream of becoming a Human Rights Lawyer. In 2015, she was accepted to UC Davis School of Law on a full-ride scholarship. That summer she enrolled in Law School, but after one semester in CA, decided to withdraw and pursue her real estate passion. Newly licensed in real estate, later that year in 2015, Ms. Maiga gained first opportunity as a Buyer's Agent for the Bittinger Team in Canton. Within 6 months, transitioned to a Listing Specialist and had the #1 sales volume in her firm. Following that, in 2018, Ms. Maiga became an independent Realtor & started as an Associate Broker for Reinhart Realtors in Ann Arbor. By June 2018, she transitioned to an Associate Broker role with Keller Williams Ann Arbor Market Center. During her time there, she was the #1 producing solo agent 3 years in a row & served on their Associate Leadership Council. In 2021, Ms. Maiga decided it was time to become an independent Broker and launched Maiga Homes Luxury Real Estate.
Invested in her community for many years, Ms. Maiga is a member of the Rotary Club of Canton. She graduated from the University of Michigan at Ann Arbor in 2012 with a Bachelor of Arts in international relations and affairs. Well-qualified in the real estate sector, Ms. Maiga holds multiple credentials, including an accredited buyer's representative, seller representative specialist, pricing strategy advisor, senior real estate specialist, and master certified negotiation expert.
In light of her civic commitments, Ms. Maiga was honored to receive a Congressional Medal of Merit in 2008 for showcasing outstanding leadership and commitment to her community and for her dedication of over 3,000 community service hours during a two-year span.
