In this capacity, he also curates a portfolio of franchises available for consideration and aligns candidates with business opportunities that match their goals. During the early stages of his career, Mr. McCullough gained valuable expertise in the field in senior advisory and leadership roles with a wide range of companies, including Nighthawk Energy, ARM Energy, PDC Energy, Gasource LLC, JP Morgan Securities, Inc., and Morgan Keegan Securities. During the late 1970s and 1980s, he honed his accounting knowledge through Progress Energy and Deloitte.
An expert in his field, Mr. McCullough holds a Bachelor of Science in Business Administration and a Master of Science in Accounting from the University of Southern Mississippi. Subsequently, he expanded his professional knowledge of business finance by running a national investment banking practice and office and earning a Series 6, 7, and 63 license through the Financial Industry Regulatory Authority and completing MBA coursework at the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill.
In conjunction with his work, Mr. McCullough served on the Board of ACE Scholarships and frequently contributes to St. Jude Children's Research Hospital and donates to the Wounded Warrior Project. While his career has been filled with highlights, he takes the most pride in pioneering natural gas and electric transactions, executing structured finance transactions totaling almost $3 billion, and being honored as Chief Executive Officer of the Year by Investor Relations Magazine. Likewise, Mr. McCullough, as CEO, Chairman, facilitated a company's transition from natural gas to a diversified portfolio of both natural gas and oil. Though hard work and dedication have brought him far in his career, Mr. McCullough credits his success to his formative tenure with Deloitte, which helped him gain experience in the importance of cash flow in business performance and valuation. In the coming years, he intends to experience the continued success of his career and impart his vast knowledge to his children. Ultimately, he would also like to donate to various charitable organizations to honor his late wife.
