Banking executive Mrs. Knapp enjoyed a successful career in several high-level positions. After over ten years with ABN AMRO Bank N.V. as an underwriting manager and another two years with Wells Fargo as wholesale site manager, she joined Bank of America as a senior vice president and chief operations officer in 2006. In this capacity, Ms. Knapp served as a corporate liaison, interacted with all aspects of operations to ensure every branch network was operating consistently and within policy, and, among other responsibilities, was the primary contact regarding audits, risk management, and compliance. She also garnered success as a servicing operations executive, business initiatives and program manager executive, and legal order and case resolution executive until 2023.
During her profession, Mrs. Knapp became active with the Girl Scouts of California's Central Coast in Ventura as the nonprofit's board chair. Since 2018, she has been responsible for overseeing the financials each quarter. She also provides oversite for audit risks, bylaws, and approvals for strategic plans. Moreover, Mrs. Knapp supports the organization by participating in fundraising events.
Besides her involvement with the Girl Scouts of America, Mrs. Knapp has been an executive committee member for the American Heart Association, a member of Toastmasters International, and a Co-Executive Champion of the Women in Technology and Operations through Bank of America. Additionally, Mrs. Knapp has been involved in charitable work with Girls Who Code.
Of all her civic work, Mrs. Knapp notes the Girl Scouts of California's Central Coast as the most rewarding. The role allows her to collaborate with many individuals outside of her area of expertise. She enjoys hearing the accomplishments of the girls, especially the Gold Award Recipients. She truly enjoys being a part of this organization.
