Having garnered former success as a state employee and business manager, she was affiliated with the Medical University of South Carolina for nearly 30 years, where she served an instrumental role in the organization's continued success as a leading comprehensive academic health science center.
As a dedicated civic leader in her community, Ms. Pinckney Rhodes is an Associate Minister at Mount Moriah Missionary Baptist Church in North Charleston, South Carolina, a young adult ministry advisor, a Baptist young women advisor, and a Sunday school teacher. Moreover, she advocates for My Sister's House and is a charter member of the International African American Museum in Charleston, South Carolina.
Ms. Pinckney Rhodes graduated from Strayer University with a Bachelor of Arts in human resources. She subsequently received a Master of Business Administration in human resources management and leadership from Strayer University in 2015. Ms. Rhodes also received credentials as a licensed realtor in South Carolina. To enhance her career further, she is presently pursuing a second master's degree in Practical Theology from Palmer Theological Seminary at Eastern University.
