During the early stages of his career, Mr. Agbaje trained and supervised engineers and lab technologists as the metallurgy and group leader for Cummins. Similarly, he gained valuable expertise in the research aspect of the field as an assistant at New Mexico Tech. An expert in his field, he earned a Bachelor of Science in materials science and engineering from Obafemi Awolowo University. Subsequently, Mr. Agbaje received a Master of Science in materials engineering from the New Mexico Institute of Mining and Technology and a Six Sigma Black Belt in addition to becoming a certified associate welding inspector.
Driven to remain abreast of changes in the field, Mr. Agbaje aligns himself with the National Association of Corrosion Engineers, the American Welding Society, the American Society for Metals, and the American Society for Quality. While his career has been filled with highlights, he takes the most pride in improving current and ongoing designs at Firefly Aerospace.
