FAIRFAX, VA, February 08, 2024 /24-7PressRelease/ -- Diane Miller has been included in Marquis Who's Who. As in all Marquis Who's Who biographical volumes, individuals profiled are selected on the basis of current reference value. Factors such as position, noteworthy accomplishments, visibility, and prominence in a field are all taken into account during the selection process.
Drawing on years of expertise in nurse anesthesia, Ms. Miller excels as the chief executive officer of PeDIA, LLC. The Pediatric Device for Induction of Anesthesia (PeDIA) is the only mask-free system for induction of anesthesia in pediatric patients. In this capacity, she oversees daily business operations, including contract services, engineering, quality systems, regulatory affairs, biocompatibility, and compliance testing. Likewise, Ms. Miller manages the marketing and education efforts for healthcare professionals, administrators, distributors, and parents.
During the early stages of her career, Ms. Miller gained valuable expertise as an anesthesia provider with such companies as Diamond Anesthesia, Potomac Anesthesia, and Kaiser Permanente. An expert in her field, she earned a Bachelor of Science in nursing from the University at Buffalo. Subsequently, she became a certified registered nurse anesthetist and certified in advanced and pediatric advanced life support. Similarly, Ms. Miller received a Master of Health Science in anesthesia from the Medical University of South Carolina.
To remain abreast of changes in the field, Ms. Miller aligns herself with the American Association of Nurse Anesthesiology. Alongside her work, she contributes to her community through The Lambs Club of Fairfax and the ASPCA. Over the years, she also won American Society of Anesthesiologists' Shark Tank and received the Client of the Year Award as well as honorable mentions in the American Nurse's Innovation Award. While her career has been filled with highlights, she takes the most pride in inventing the PeDIA without any investors so that she could have full control over the product's development. Though hard work and dedication have brought her far in her career, she credits her success to her colleagues, both nurse anesthetists and anesthesiologists and the individuals at the Medical Inventors Group. Within the coming years, Ms. Miller intends to establish PeDIA as the standard of care and adapt the device for children as young as 18 months.
