In preparation for his career, Mr. Mendez received a Bachelor of Science in interdisciplinary studies from the University of Texas at El Paso in 2005 and a Doctor of Jurisprudence from Texas Tech University in 2008. He has been admitted to practice by the Texas Bar Association.
