Growing up, Mr. Shenck played in numerous bands that struggled to find affordable studios to record their music. Driven to address the issue, he established The B Side Studio in 1999. As owner and operator, he leverages his expertise in music production, editing, mixing, and mastering to cater to rock-and-roll musicians, specializing in hard rock, indie rock, blues rock, and country rock. Alongside his work with The B Side Studio, Mr. Shenck does electrical work for residential and industrial clients. Additionally, he sets up programmable logic controllers for factories and production lines.
Outside his work, Mr. Shenck is a lifetime member of Produce Like a Pro. While his career has been filled with highlights, he takes the most pride in providing the highest quality services for his clients. In recent years, he received a request from students at the Eastman School of Music. Although they had a limited budget of $250 dollars to complete six songs, he decided to take on the project to give the students a high-quality finished project.
Though hard work and dedication have brought him far in his career, Mr. Shenck credits his success to being transparent with his clients, sharing his knowledge with others without expecting anything, and his innate ability to work with others. Within the coming years, he intends to assess how much longer he can work in the construction industry. Ultimately, Mr. Shenck aims to foster his music production career.
