Additionally, she has been a successful book author since 2016 with her work "Living in Total Health," aiming to spread her vision for a healthier world by emphasizing individual physical, mental, emotional and spiritual well-being. Added to this, she has served as a licensed clinical social worker and consultant since 1997, has been a massage therapist for The Massage Advantage since 2002, and is an independent associate with USANA Health Sciences since 2014.
Before her present role, she promoted Camp Bryan, featuring The Bryan Brothers, in 2007-2009. During this time, she volunteered as a massage therapist for the Tennis Channel from 2006 until 2008, and became the executive director for the G Alex Foundation in 2009-2020. She also was a director for the United States Tennis Association Nevada board of directors from 2010 until 2018, and a director for the United States Professional Tennis Association.
Among her professional accomplishments, she won the Indie Book Award for Health and Wellness and was finalist for the psychology category in 2021, and a Book Excellence Award finalist in the Health category in 2023. An avid tennis player and advocate as well, in 2023 she was named as one of the US Open's Champions of Equality for her relentless efforts to promote inclusivity and diversity in the sport.
To prepare for her professional journey, Miss Alex earned a Bachelor of Arts in liberal studies from California State University, Northridge. Following this achievement, she attained a Master of Social Work from the University of Houston in 1997. Well-qualified in her field, she is a licensed clinical social worker by the Nevada Board of Examiners for Social Workers and a licensed massage therapist with the Nevada State Board of Massage Therapy. She is also a certified tennis teaching professional by the United States Professional Tennis Association.
Within the coming years, Miss Alex intends to publish her second book. Accounting for her success, she credits the remarkable support system that has nurtured her growth and development.
