LA MESA, CA, February 13, 2024 /24-7PressRelease/ -- Michael Marohnic has been included in Marquis Who's Who. As in all Marquis Who's Who biographical volumes, individuals profiled are selected on the basis of current reference value. Factors such as position, noteworthy accomplishments, visibility, and prominence in a field are all taken into account during the selection process.
As a child, Mr. Marohnic and his family relocated to various locations for his father's work. At nine years old, his family moved to Texas where his father, employed by GE, worked on the lunar space module that successfully landed on the moon in 1969. Upon completion of the project, his father found work in the nuclear power industry, which brought the family to Florida. After graduating from high school, he began working for his girlfriend's father at Johnston Concrete, where he developed a burgeoning interest in the building industry. Subsequently, Mr. Marohnic gained valuable expertise in the field as a project foreman for Gary Day Construction.
In 1988, Mr. Marohnic obtained his contractor's license and established California Framers, which he ran successfully until 1996. Alongside his work with California Framers, he founded Maroh Enterprises, Inc., which does business as California Doors and Windows. As president of the organization, he oversees staffing, sales, installations, office personnel, subcontractors, and manufacturers. Likewise, Mr. Marohnic maintains quality assurance and consults with customers, manufacturers, architects, engineers, building departments, and build department officials throughout the course of a project.
While his career has been filled with highlights, Mr. Marohnic takes the most pride in obtaining his contractor's license, which transformed him from a carpenter to a businessman. Though hard work and dedication have brought him far in his career, he credits his success to his tenacity, ability to overcome challenges, and his first mentor, Jim Johnston Concrete. Looking ahead, Mr. Marohnic intends to renew his real estate license and venture back into that industry.
