Dr. Bailey is a respected Diagnostic Radiologist at the Mountain Home Air Force Base in Idaho. Dr. Bailey and his team provide multiple types of testing including plain film radiography, fluoroscopy, ultrasound, computed tomography, magnetic resonance imaging, and screening and diagnostic mammography. He also does minor interventional procedures to include breast needle localizations, breast ultrasound guided biopsies and hysterosalpingograms.

Experienced in medicine, Dr. Bailey was a Staff Diagnostic Radiologist at the Dwight D. Eisenhower Army Medical Center from 2003 to 2015. He also was previously in private group practice in Southern California for many years. He has been practicing Diagnostic Radiology for the past 37 years.
As far as community is concerned, Dr. Bailey is a member of St. Paul Baptist Church where he is a Trustee and a member of the Laymen's Group. He was named Laymen of the Year in 2019.
In preparation for his career in medicine, Dr Bailey earned a Bachelor of Arts, magna cum laude in Biology from Fisk University in 1978 and a Doctor of Medicine from Meharry Medical College in 1982. Both of these institutions are in Nashville, Tennessee where he is a native. Additionally, he completed an Internship in Flexible Medicine and Residency in Diagnostic Radiology from Howard University Hospital, Washington, D.C. in 1986.
While in college, Dr. Bailey was elected to Phi Beta Kappa National Honor Society, Alpha Mu Gamma Foreign Language Honor Society, Beta Kappa Chi Scientific Honor Society and Mortar Board, Inc. He graduated with Departmental Honors in biology and was involved in biological research through the National Biomedical Sciences Program while a student. Today, he is an active professional member of the American Medical Association and the Southern Medical Association. In light of his success, Dr. Bailey received a Physician's Choice Award in 1992.
