Ms. Karabelov has been highlighted numerous times in local and national media, including an article in the Bohemian in March 2023. She also received recognition in such prominent publications as The Bride & Bloom Magazine, Brides, Town & Country, TeaTime, and Santa Rosa Magazine and was featured among the Cooking Channel's Food Crafters. Moreover, Ms. Karabelov has received numerous accolades for her exceptional cakes, including Best Overall, Best Cake, Best Taste, and Best Presentation for her teapot-shaped cake at a gala event. The cake was subsequently auctioned for $25,000, with proceeds benefiting underprivileged children in the community in 2023. Among other honors, she received recognition for Best Baklava in Sonoma County.
In preparation for her career, Ms. Karabelov acquired an Associate of Arts in culinary arts and chef training from Santa Rosa Junior College. She also received a baking and pastry certification and a chef certification. Previously, she garnered an undergraduate degree in environmental studies and ecology from Trakia University (Thrace University) in Bulgaria in 2001.
