While pursuing a bachelor's degree at the University of Florida, Ms. Grant worked as a receptionist at a law firm. After finding she enjoyed the work, she studied at the University of Florida Fredric G. Levin College of Law, from which she graduated with a Doctor of Jurisprudence with honors. Shortly thereafter, Ms. Grant was offered a position at the law firm Folds Walker LLC.
Intending to focus more on the estate planning area of law, Ms. Grant relocated to Tampa, Florida. With her certification in trust and estate law, she secured a role as a law clerk at an estate planning firm and at another law office. In 2009, Ms. Grant joined the firm Cianfrone & De Furio as an associate attorney and quickly climbed her way to a partnership in the firm in 2014. Ms. Grant found success as a named partner with Cianfrone, Nikoloff, Grant & Greenberg, P.A. until making the decision to relocate to Brandon, Florida in 2022 for family reasons. In September of 2022, Ms. Grant joined the firm of Pilka, Adams & Reed, P.A. and is currently practicing solely in the area of community association law.
Ms. Grant has 15 years of experience in community association law, which is a subset of real estate law, and in her current position, she represents boards of directors for homeowner's associations, condominiums, cooperatives, mobile home parks and timeshares, as well as, the occasional representation of an owner against their association.
Aside from her primary vocational pursuits, Ms. Grant volunteers with veterans and children with developmental disorders and is getting her certification in horse therapy. She is a member of the Real Property Probate and Trust Law Section of The Florida Bar. Ms. Grant attributes her success to the people who have supported her throughout her professional journey, particularly her colleagues at the various law firms she has had the privilege of working for.
