Drawing on years of professional experience in business, construction, management, and more, Mr. Armando excels as the vice president of construction for Tectonic Systems, LLC. In this capacity, he oversees daily business operations and works with various companies, including SIRIS USA, an international company that caters to the federal government, hospitality, and commercial development sectors. Currently, Mr. Armando is working on hospitality projects in Phoenix, Arizona, and Houston, Texas, and government projects in Fresno, California.
An expert in his field, Mr. Armando earned a Bachelor of Science in advanced education with concentrations in biochemistry, mathematics, physics, and geology from the State University of New York at Plattsburgh and studied electrical engineering at Union College. Driven to remain abreast of changes in the field, he aligns himself with the Construction Specifications Institute.
While his career has been filled with highlights, Mr. Armando takes the most pride in transitioning from tilt wall to precast concrete construction and playing a key role in a $50 million luxury condominium project in Hoboken, New Jersey. Though hard work and dedication have brought him far in his career, he credits his success to his educational background, mentors, and photographic memory, which helps him grasp new concepts quickly.
